Nobbele Kubb Klub Tournament & Fundraiser
All proceeds went to the family of Jenna
Johnston. Jenna had Childhood Rhabdomyosarcoma (a rare form of
skin cancer).
The tournament was played in Lindström, MN (America's Little
Sweden). There were 12 teams and 30 participants representing
four different states. The event had a kubb tournament, silent
auction, bake sale, lunch, music, and a bald eagle that flew over
several times. The proceeds will be used to help the family pay
for medical expenses. Over $1000 were raised. The top three teams
were awarded medals, and Old
Time Games provided a kubb set for the winner and 2nd place,
in addition to two sets for silent auction.
